The Problem
Most women with chronic feminine health issues arrive at seeking nutritional therapy after struggling to have their symptoms taken seriously or taking many rounds of antibiotics, pain killers, steroids, anti-fungals, hormone therapy, immune-suppressing drugs, antacids, or birth control. I know, because it happened to me. Suppressing symptoms isn’t sustainable.
Ancestral Nutritional Wisdom - The Answer
Eating isn’t just about satisfying hunger or gaining or losing weight. In fact, what and how we eat is probably the biggest influencer of how our bodies and minds function. What’s more, common practice does not honor the nutritional component that underlies many feminine health issues.
But I eat pretty healthy?
As women, our bodies are nuanced, and sometimes react to foods in ways that can seem confusing and frustrating. Even if you’re eating as healthy as you know how, it may be that an imbalance of nutritional inputs, and certain aspects of your lifestyle are stopping you from enjoying life to its fullest. This is where I come in.
Alexandra Radway is a wife, mother, and a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who is ready to help you find the root cause of your pain.
Alexandra has spent her life overcoming health challenges through food, so she truly understands what you are going through and is ready to listen. Alexandra studied Environmental Engineering at MIT, where she learned how to uncover how small imbalances in the environment create massive effects. Alexandra can now use these problem-solving skills with her clients and help them discover the root cause of their health concerns. As a wife and mother to one, Alexandra faced many nutritional challenges during her pregnancy that caused severe pain, which she now knows she could have prevented. Alexandra’s passion is to help expecting and new mothers or women hoping to become mothers use nutrition to give themselves and their children the best possible start.
Alexandra is trained to look at the big picture rather than the symptoms accompanying an issue. This means that Alexandra will not assume that a symptom is the actual “problem”. Instead, she will investigate those symptoms to find their underlying cause. Alexandra also
understands that the body has innate intelligence of its own nutritional needs, and has tools to help our clients reconnect with and grow attuned to that innate intelligence.
It is important to remember that the body is often capable of correcting itself, if done with patience and the proper tools (i.e. nutrients) for doing so.
